Your Patrima account

Your Patrima account lets you sign in and access your tracked accounts. Keep your email address accessible and verified to receive account messages and, where included in your plan, critical alerts.

Sign in with your email address and a password, or with a Google or GitHub account. During the private beta, an account can only be created with the approved address, including when you first sign in with Google or GitHub.

Apart from the confirmation link you receive at sign-up, emails only go to a verified address: password reset links, the notice sent when your password changes and, on the Pro plan, critical alerts. If you change your address from Settings, the change only takes effect once you confirm it from the new inbox; until then, emails keep going to your current address.

To regain access, open Forgot password and use your verified email address. The link you receive lets you set a new password.

To change it while signed in, open Settings > Account. If you use Google or GitHub and have never set a Patrima password, first use Forgot password with that account's email address. Do not enter your Google or GitHub password in Patrima.

The interface exists in English and French. Language, theme (light, dark or system) and date format are set in Settings, General. The language toggle in the app's sidebar switches the interface and also saves the language to your account, as Settings does. The toggle in the header of this site changes the language in this browser only. The home page, the pricing, the legal pages and this documentation also have their own address in French, under /fr (for example /fr/docs): a link to one of them opens in French for whoever receives it. The saved language is the one used for emails. Notifications and the legal notice at the bottom of the app follow the language of the interface. The language you sign up in is saved to your account, and signing in on a browser where no language was chosen opens the app in your saved language.

The theme button in the app header, or in the account menu on mobile, switches between light and dark in one click, including from System mode. It also saves your choice to your account. On a browser with no theme choice yet, the app uses your saved preference. A theme already chosen on that browser stays in place.

In Settings > Data & privacy, download your data as JSON or delete your account. This export contains your Patrima data except connection credentials. See the export guide for list and report exports.
